Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in a signature mix. Avery Sunshine has appeared on Broadway and at festivals in Europe, as well as her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is the daughter of Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta now, Sunshine is born in Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician by playing and singing at the local church. In Atlanta she was a student at Spellman College where her musical education began in the Atlanta's R&B Scene. In 2005 she was hired as the primary keyboardist in Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, who won Tony and Grammy Awards for her vocals she asked Sunshine to be part of the Dreamgirls show during Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained national recognition for four daily performances during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Sunshine was invited to perform at Obama's inaugural ceremony in 2009.
